The YC-B-400 SS-PM VFD Multistage Centrifugal Pump is a stainless steel (SS) reinforced pump from the YC-B series, built for durability and corrosion resistance. Unlike standard pumps with plastic or iron components, its stainless steel body and impellers handle mild corrosion (e.g., hot water with minerals) and maintain performance in long-term use. It’s tailored for clean water applications—residential, commercial, and light industrial—with medium requirements: water temperature ≤95℃, pH 6.5–8.5, and solid impurities ≤0.1% (particle size ≤0.2mm).

Stainless Steel Corrosion Resistance

The pump’s stainless steel construction is its biggest strength. It resists rust and mineral buildup from hot water (e.g., solar-heated water with calcium deposits) or slightly hard water—common issues that shorten the life of plastic pumps. For example, in areas with hard water, the YC-B-400 can operate for 5+ years without impeller blockages, compared to 2–3 years for standard pumps.


Multistage Impeller for Stable Head

With 3-stage impellers, the pump delivers consistent head (22 m rated, 40 m maximum) even at varying flow rates. The impellers also reduce turbulence, lowering noise and energy loss.


Wide Temperature Adaptability

Unlike self-priming pumps (≤60℃), the YC-B-400 handles water temperatures up to 95℃. This makes it ideal for hot water circulation (e.g., underfloor heating, bath club boilers) and even short-term use with boiling water (e.g., commercial kitchen cleaning). The F-class insulation further protects the motor from overheating in high-temperature environments.
